Director
Dr Simon Gillett is a Director of Roughton International and has over 30 years relevant experience specialising in pavement assessment, analysis and design services.
His experience includes the management and implementation of projects covering all aspects of highway construction and maintenance including basic research, condition survey, pavement design, materials assessment, economic feasibility studies and construction supervision.
Simon joined Roughton in 1993 as a Principal Engineer having previously held pavement engineering positions within various consultancies. He has also worked as a road materials and pavement specialist for the Transport Research Laboratory. Prior to that he undertook a three year research position at the University of Nottingham where he gained his PhD in Civil Engineering.
