As part of the Judicial Reform Project in Romania, Roughton was appointed in July 2011 to provide high level construction supervision and contract management services to rehabilitate and upgrade 4 court buildings across the country.
On the 27th September, following three years work on site, an opening ceremony for Iasi Palace of Justice building took place in presence of the Minister of Justice of Romania and many other dignitaries. Roughton was represented by Mr Antoniu Draganescu, country representative for Romania and Roughton’s supervision team who ensured completion of works to the highest European standards for this type of building.
