The project seeks to contribute to cultivating a road asset management culture within the sector by:
- expanding maintenance of the national road infrastructure nationwide and facilitating interventions in priority areas,
- allocating adequate maintenance fundingduring the budgeting process;
- knowledge building in MPWT on road networkmanagement, maintenance technology and contract management; and
- private sector involvement in competitive bidding and performance quality.
