Roughton Management Re-structure - CEO and COO step down

May 2017

Following a review of the business in early May the following changes have been made to the management structure.

Bernard Obika steps down as Chief Executive, after a tenure of over 6 years. He will take on the role of Managing Director Africa & Major Projects, to further develop our African market share.

Stephen Kimmett becomes Acting Chief Executive. Stephen joined Roughton in 2012 as the company's first full-time Finance Director, bringing over 30 years of industry experience with him including being a member of the management team that floated Scott Wilson on the London Stock Exchange.

Richard Wotton steps down as Chief Operating Officer and take on the role of Group Director – UK Infrastructure, with a remit to develop Roughton’s share of the UK
Infrastructure market.

Ramsey Neseyif becomes Acting Chief Operating Officer. A key member of the senior management team since 2011, Ramsey has over 25 years of worldwide project experience, with a particular emphasis on commercial risk. He thrives on the challenges of achieving value for money for clients through innovation, improving processes and commercial procedures to promote professional integrity and business ethics throughout the organisation.

Roughton’s traditional regional business model is also in the process of change in order to capitalise more effectively on the extensive expertise of its Regional Managers and Directors.

With the combination of MGC support and an experienced and dedicated management team, Roughton has a solid platform and can confidently look forward to future growth.
