Client: Nigeria Railway Corporation

The Nigeria Railway Corporation (NRC) plans to improve its logistics services through Public Private Partnership arrangements such as design, build, maintain, operate and transfer.

Roughton was award the contract for the transaction advisory services in September 2013. This includes services for the feasibility stage of the PPP project cycle:

• Identification of information resources required
• Preparation of project programme
• Facilitation of stakeholder workshop
• PPP concept options report
• Legal frameworks and constitutional analysis
• Data gathering, market share analysis and network capacity review

This will be followed by the tender process and negotition stages of the cycle.
