Roughton International Limited are currently looking for a International Sales Expert to join our team on a full time basis and help with international business development.
Roughton is a UK based engineering consultancy that provides professional multi-disciplinary consultancy services in sustainable infrastructure development and management solutions in developing and emerging countries.
We have more than sixty years of experience, have worked across the globe and have partners in many countries worldwide.
Our core business is the provision of technical assistance, studies, designs, construction supervision, PPP transaction advisory and project management services in the international transportation sector. We also have substantial experience in the rail, water, environmental and building sectors as well as in post-disaster reconstruction.
The candidate must be:
• Motivated and with a positive “can-do” attitude;
• Polite, personable and confident; and
• Interested and willing to travel worldwide.
Requirements:
• Background or knowledge of Civil Engineering activities;
• Proven track record of meeting business targets;
• Ability to build strong relationships and develop internal and external networks;
• Excellent presentation and client facing skills;
• Good understanding of effective sales processes;
• Ability to organise and plan workload efficiently;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; and
• Possess advanced computer skills (MS Office Suite).
Desirable skills:
• A history of successfully selling in the engineering services sector;
• Experience of working with International and Multi-cultural clients;
• Knowledge of Funding Agencies, MDBs and IFIs; and
• Ability to speak an additional language(s);
